I only add parts to other already painted when the parts are different colors. When glue a part in a white glue mark and that mark has much ink, I remove some ink with a x-acto knive. But when I glued the lettering in the engine cover I glued over the ink. Tapcho Quote:
Before begin the model I see all lettering and logos and draw all in CorelDraw, then print and cut. I cut two or three letters for each one I need for a better selection. This method is better than a scan, the image is more clean. One page with logos and lettering Here you can see how I draw a logo over a scan from original Quote:
Some people like to put much weathering, other like do not put any, I like put some to give an idea of use but without distorting the original model. I accept all positions, in this case I’m not a purist. But I have built models without paint and in this cases I’m a purist. I choice if paint or not depending on the model type and of its original color. I’m not agree that a modeler make only painted models or only unpainted models, or only aircraft, or only armored ... A bit of everything depending on the desire of the moment. As said sjsquirrel in previous post, one of advantage of paper models is that “covering every subject under the sun”. So! Why make every time the same? Peter Taft Thanks Peter, and I like this forum, for me is the best paper model forum. |

Have been following and learning from your build. Haven't really made many comments since I'm primarily in awe of your skills and don't feel I have much to contribute except exclamations of amazement.

A bit of everything depending on the desire of the moment." If one wants to only make aircrafts, or only tanks, or whatever, then good for him! As long as he likes what he does, it's all fine. However, diversity is the spice of life |

The cabin
The construction is made in two halves, the front and rear. Once joined and painted. The interior was painted before the junction. |

i haven't checked this thread in a while because first I needed to buy a special helmet to keep the top of my skull in place.
It's always a pleasure to follow build threads by the masters of the hobby. I especially love it when they show a photo of something like those eight amazing headlights, along with a comment like this: "Prepared set of lights". Four words, that's it. The ideas, materials, tools and techniques used just for making those lights could be a build thread by itself! But in a thread like this ... the lights are just another detail, no need to spend more than a few words ... then, on to the next amazing part! |

No kidding. I'm curious about the steering wheel creation and the rims around the dial on the dash, too.

The mastery of this build and all the tiny details that go into it really does brighten a dreary day for me. I look in here everyday to see the progress, and i never feel let down, there's always something that makes me go OMG... it's just incredible.
