Hello whulsey. A happy 2012 for you and family. Well, here it is!

Zathros, for you and family a good year 2012. Yes I planning coloring the edges, and not only! Everything! Thanks you for the loan of yellow sharpie pens but it's necessary. I don't use pens. For models not painted I use watercolors.
I make paper models purists or not, as can see in my blog.

Unpainted:
My first model - Z Reis: Panzer Kpfw III Ausf G
Z Reis: Kubelwagen
Z Reis: Opel Blitz
Z Reis: Viola
Z Reis: Centaur II
Z Reis: Casa filme UP
Z Reis: Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-8/R8 (waiting canopy from Halinski)

I decide when painting or not depending of model. I am not a fundamentalist. I really like is paper models and the final result.

I hope it's not necessary grease gun and gasket sealant. I hope!

Stunning work so far, I've always admired this model based on the cover picture but had no idea it was so detailed, I'm seriously considering buying it now... I like how you plan to add detail and paint, I prefer to do that myself as it allows me to cover a lot of mistakes :D

I will be watching this one closely, I love construction equipment builds.

Hi Rich, for now Im a paper model builder. But when I finished the excavator I will go to civil construction...

Jaffro, this model is a very good model to build, many and many hours of pleasure and entertainment. Until now everithing is OK. I like Renova Model models.
As I say before, I decide if paint or not a model depending of the model. For example if it has a good camuflage or came with a very good color I don't paint, but if is monocolor or it's an old edition and have lines and the color aren't very good, I paint.
On the other hand I like paint models with very detail, like this or Modelik locomotives.

Pong, many thanks, I happy that you appreciate.

Sorry to stop the building but it was the fault of the Time Machine.
Now it is finished I will then continue with the excavator of Renova Models.

After painting the gearbox pasted inside the back frame. We also added two pipes of the hydraulic system.

Hi Z Reis:
Now I understand completly your quest for ready made bolts and threaded plate.
That's a lot of nuts (to crack...).
It's a great model, but airbrushing and weathering the model will make it a superb model.
Rgds
Carlos

Hi Carlos

Yes many nuts (to crack ) But I draw a sheet only with nuts of various measures. Have nuts for many year.
You're right, this model want weathering and I will apply some, but do not overdo it.

Hi NStarkel

Thanks.

................................................ ooOoo ................................................

The next set is the fuel tank.
The parts.

Painted with the base color

And now with patine, applied in the front frame.

Inside was also applied some hydraulic system tubes.

Before connecting the two structures will also make some more equipment.
