Superb work. The final image is indistinguishable from a full-sized fitting.

I like all the models you displayed on your blog. You have an exceptional range of interests and great skill (we already knew that). I found the fat workboat Centaur to be especially appealing.

Don, Yes I like to vary the type of models and also in it’s origins, purchase or free. I also like to vary with models painted or not and between military and civilian models.
My philosophy of modeling is that to do the same type of models, only boats or only planes or only tanks, I think that's boring.

romanmodels, thanks.

Joining the structures

Application of hydraulic hose between the two structures. Thereafter the tubes will be applied at the other ends.

Then the two structures were joined, the front and rear.

Flexible Piping connections (view of the front frame).

Flexible Piping connections (view of rear side of the structure).

The shaft rotates between the structures as in the original excavator, to the left ...

... and to the right.

Semi-axes

Start of semi-axes construction.

The central part that will receive the differential.

Parts for one differential.

Differential finished.

Parts for disc brakes

Direction finished. One already with a first layer of paint and another without being painted.
