Outstanding work! The Sno-Cat came out so well, excellent detailing, the cleverly fogged windows are a nice touch. The diorama work is wonderful, the snow is so realistic. Nice photography, too. Bravo!

Like Gixergs said, very dramatic diorama.
The snow efect works very well, but I didn't catch what powder you sprinkled on the gypsum.
The photos against a cold blue sky were a very smart solution.

As for the powder, it was more gypsum. I hoped - and it turned out it did - the powder on top would keep its grainy structure and still cling to the mass underneath. I also used a wet brush to dab the surface of the Sno-Cat here and there and push (with a second brush) some gypsum powder into those areas. I sealed it off with clear acrylic spray paint.
The diorama might remain a bit sensitive for wind, I am afraid.
Perhaps I'd make a perspex case over it one day.

Thanks! The extra fun part of this hobby - at least for me - is to learn while researching and investigating the backgrounds of a model. The story of this Sno-Cat is indeed a very interesting one, I think. So, besides keeping me off the street it also is a learning opportunity.
