I'm definitely going to have a crack at the Sno Cat, but may try one from scratch as I have reasonable access to the real thing - it would be a crying shame not to! I don't think my fingers would work in your small scale...... I'm currently drawing up an old tractor - a Fordson F from the 1920's - to see if I can actually do it from scratch first. That is why I went to the London Science Museum in the first place and found the Sno Cat, as they also have a Fordson F - what a great resource eh... I'll post some Sno Cat pictures today..... Well done again - fantastic modelling!

Fordson F Tractor Circa 1920

Here's a couple of pictures of the Fordson at the London Science Museum to inspire you all. If anyone is interested in building one from scratch, I will go again (love to) and get better quality photos and post them to order.... There are precious few old tractor models out there....

Tonyceri, thanks for posting the photos. Here's a link to my photo site with photos of the replica. Its outside so was able to get under it, etc for detail shots. Might help you some. 2011-10-22 Antique Gas & Steam Engine Museum Vista CA - whulsey's Photos and 2011-10-22 Antique Gas & Steam Engine Museum Vista CA - whulsey's Photos

As I recently check, the wayback machine have the pages on archive. As for the designer, I had alreay try to contact, because of a intended polar exploration series in papermodels, but never had a reply.

By the way, your sno-cat is simply fantastic! Very well done indeed!

Best cumpliments,

As it seem to be a little dificult to get there, here it is the wayback machine link to the belgium expedition snowcat:

Thank you for the contributions with photos , Whulsey and Tonyceri. They are hard to find and sure help to make a more solid building project. Still project on this side...
