It looks like it scaled up without any fit issues mbed. A very nice addition to your collection. Well done!

JohnM -- I had thought about doing as you said, but with what RPS said about the tread strips being too short, I wanted to get the corrected files.
RPS -- many thanks for your kind offer, but now that the files are in the download section (and very popular -- hope we don't run out of stock!) I'll get them there. Sorry for the delayed response -- been working long hours lately. Not much modeling time this week :-( This thread and others has really fired me up to build some of these wonderful vintage projects! I'm looking forward to builing my own Automovil Moderno. Anne |

Making a real car.
Hello all. A lot of you mentioned wich car the Automovil Moderno was made after. A few month ago i saw a Picture of a 1940´s car on the Internet. And suddely i knew which car could have been the original for this paper model. I made some minor changes on the model and built it. I think i hit the model well. Does somebody know which car it is now? Look at the Picture and try to find out.
Greetings from Germany, Michael |

Gittan - it does look like one, but those did not have the chrome down the side of the bonnet - only on the front wings.
But I also have no other suggestion......!

Hello Gittan, you are very close. It is a 1940 Nash. I need to change some small things and i will add the Hood Ornament. Take a look here:
