coming together nicely, I love the way nosports designs his models so that you build a series of substructures then put it all together at the end, I'm looking forward to building more of his models but for now I'm enjoying watching you do yours

I agree with you. All models are very good designed and easy to follow.
I'm busy now with 24 wheels and that takes time and patience.
However the low loader is not looking so complicated as the truck and I will soon post some wheels.

Very slow progress, but all the wheels are now done.

I was almost at the point of ending with paper modeling after doing the wheels of a 1:144 Concorde from Welcome to currell.net (that is 10 wheels made from three pieces each).
The wheels you made look very nice indeed, and had I had such success, I wouldn't haven't thought about quitting paper modelling

To Calinous:

My first plan was to build the low loader with 4 sets of rear axles (32 wheels).
I have reduced my ambition and changed back to 3 sets of rear axles with a total of 24 wheels and 1 extra as spare.
I have changed also the type of paper. The first wheel was made with a 80g office paper, but for all the rest I have used 120g which is stronger and easier to form.
I am struggling now with a lot of brakes, hydraulic dampers and components for the rear axles.
I count soon to post some more pictures.

Recent progress.
Here some pictures of 6 sets for the rear axles.

1. Parts partially assembled for the 6 sets.
2. 1 set without wheels
3. 1 set included wheels

Next work is to complete and mount all 6 sets on the rear axles carrier.

I don't think so, but it is desinged to include a working spring.

You just have to make the axle tiltable and include a real spring.

big problem is to find a good spring for the lightweight papermodel...

Spiral springs from "pull back" toys? Pen springs seem to be too tough, but maybe if they're pulled straight they might be able to retain enough of a helix shape and be soft enough...
On the other hand, the load is small enough, and shared to 6 springs...
