hi filippo, hi calinous,

I agree with "90% done, 90% remaining". each piece added makes me want to add more!!!
This evening I made the bag stretcher and I added the straps to secure it. So I put the strap to the battery also.

I don't think I can find more superlatives at the quality of the construction (not to mention the quality of the design)

I made the pieces less paper of the model: the glass! I used acetate.
the seals and the wiper are made of paper.

Hi David,
first I'm not a good designer 3d!!!I'm starting to learn now. However, I think the problem would be the cab.
I do not think that we can build without a form like the one I did!

It's looking wonderful. As for plans, not even the doors would be easy to make straight out of paper - and their curvature is quite a bit less pronounced. And (due to the interior detail) a ship hull-like construction would be difficult also (not enough place/places to install the framework on which the surface elements are glued).
Edge-glueing thick paper might work - and the surfaces might be curvy enough if using something like 20+ stripes for the cab - but keeping pieces in alignment would be difficult at best.

I'm fine with having your fire fighting device as a "one of a kind wonder"

Hello to all,

I'm back from vacation and I resumed work!
I did the siren (or say the sounder?). Here's how I did it, and as soon as the paint dries, attack her at the top of the cab.....
