I was stationed in Italy, in 1970, I did get to see this version of the fire truck. And yes, the helmets were black at that time. From a scratch builder to another designer, Bellisimo, me Piace molto. So what is next on your agenda?

What a fantastic piece of scratchbuilding! The beautiful work on the compound curves is especially impressive, as is the detailing and finishing! Thank you for sharing all the photographs along the way.
