Though he shows an actual picture Of Richard's Charger, the model
looks like Kyle's Magnum. Esspecially with the number 42 instead of 43.

Some one had one a few years ago, but I do not know if it is still available.
He did the General Lee on the same blank.
I had them, but this was before I started using Thumb-Drives to save instead of
CD's & DVD's.

The one who made the Charger went by jcarlo on RPM Forums.
He has a site, but I do not see the Petty Charger there.
The Duke's General & the F+F black one are, but his downloads appear to be
from 4shared Spam warned which demands membership.

Is he a member here??

Download is deposit File...there is a free download option.
Just gotta wait 60 seconds.

Model looks a lot like a late 70s Chevy Monte Carlo which Petty did drive.
But not number 42?

Looks more like Kyle's 79 Magnum though, I agree.

PaperMau's kit Is on DepositFiles,

The Old Charger kits from RacingPaperModels Member
jcarlo are on 4share.

I need a way to retrieve files from Burned CD's & DVD's I Know
I have them, but after a few weeks the disc's no longer show
all or sometimes even Any of the files I burned to them.

Most retrieval programs do not scan Optical drives. Only
Hard-Drives & Thumb-Drives.

If I can find an external cage that accepts IDE Hard-Drives
I Might be able to find many of my lost paper models downloaded
on one of my PC's that will not boot now.
I would use the secondary from it with them in this Dell, but this Dell only accepts
ATA internal H-D's!

For information on Petty numbers. There was a year when Richard and Kyle switched numbers for a period so Kyle could get on the NASCAR Winner's Circle program which followed the car number and not the driver. Think it was primarily with the Buick body which was around 82 or 83. There were a few other times Petty Engineering played games with their numbers to take advantage of different points and money plans.

But probably 95% of the time it was Richard in (or owning) the 43. The model does look like a late 70's MC. Can't remember if Kyle ever ran those. Back to listening to Darlington.

Richard & Kyle drove Buicks in 81 when nascar decided to Shrink the cars.
This was when they started Aero Flipping, ie, the side Leading into the slide lifting
instead of Digging in.
IN 82 They switched to Pontiac's & Kyle's became the white, green, orange,red 7/11 #7
I want the decals for that one!!
In 83 or 84 Kyle moved to Woods brothers & though he kept 7/11 & the #7, the car became white, blue & red. Richard went to Curb in 84 where he would win #200 at the July Daytona 400.
I know in the early 60's with up to 4 drivers they did switch numbers a lot from race to race, til they were told by nascar to stop doing that.

Sadly, Petty Enterprises is mostly only a museum now. The team using Richards name is actually the one Ray Everingham started and Robert Yates temas merged. they just added Richard's name, and car #43. Why do they only have 2 cars though?? And why Fords not Dodges??
Everingham & Petty were 2 of the teams doing all the work to bring Dodge back in,
why go with the minority team in the merger??
