Liebherr excavator (1.24 scale)

Hi all,
Here,s the Backbone and Counterweight assembly,s, also managed the Hydro block. exhaust and casting,s, looks like you make loads of parts then put them all together all at the same time, got up to the cabin , standard coloured windows or ( The challenge) with interior, Guess what i,m going for.
Going to be off for a bit, ( back to silly shift work ), roll on day,s off.

This is a re-colour of the original nosports model and you're right, all his models are built by first making a series of sub-assemblies then putting them altogether at the end. This style of design/building suits me perfectly as it helps a lot when it comes to painting the uncoloured versions of his models. I love his designs so much I think they're all i'm going to be building until I have finished all of them, yesterday I made a start on the crane.

You're doing a great job with this, I can't wait to see more.

It is a little bit more than a re-colour.... but yes the idea of sub-assemblies then making a final assembly is a very good way of building models, the Yamaha V-Max is done in the same manner as well.

Jaffro please post pictures of the crane build, I have had a look at it, but at the moment I am busy with the Yamaha V-Max build which I am going to post pictures after I have finished the rear axle, and also I busy with my engine design at the same time, so with you building it would be a good referance for later.
