Congratulations. Hopefully the model is still in it and in good shape. Make yourself a scan, too, in case you decide to build another one

Thanks! Yeah, that's the plan. I traced the original magazine copy onto some poster board with some carbon paper way back when, and it was really helpful having the thicker material to work with. I'm thinking it'll be a lot better with the scanner and printer - more importantly than making a second one, if I mess something up I can just print it out and go again.

With todays Home printer/scanners it would be better to scan the model page, and reprint on regular paper.
Then, glue that print to some cardstock for a stronger and more durable model. (This also saves the magazine!) I recommend 3M Spray 77 Glue as your laminating adhesive which will not dampen or wrinkle the paper. I look forward to seeing more of these magazine models built and posted here!

Thanks, Michael - looks Great! I think I'll probably stick with pre-made wheels though, since I'm new at the paper gig. I might have to holler if my copy shows up next weekend without the plans inside. Keepin' 'em crossed!

Well, the old magazine showed up yesterday, fully intact - the middle page with the "kit" is right where it's supposed to be! Sweet!!
Just gotta score a steering wheel and an appropriate set of wheels from my plastic model parts stash. This is pretty exciting!
