Airdave's Kool Wheelz Collection

Airdave's Kool Wheelz are very cool indeed and free. There are 36 of them but I wonder if that is the whole collection. Anyway what I'm presenting here is the Munsters Koach designed by George Barris as Dave stated on the plan. The Koach was built as printed any no re-sizing involved. Some enhancement modifications are noticeable, like the clear windscreen, extended exhaust pipes and finally it rolls.

haha I'm not too sure about those WILD pipes
but its an awesome build!
Thanks for giving this one a try!

Its also great to see it at the designed scale.

And you are correct in questioning the number of KoolWheelz.
I do have plans to add many more...some day.

Looks really good. May I ask how you approached the rolling wheels? The one vehicle I attempted to do that did not roll that freely or straight.

The secret is to use a thin wire. What I used is 0.15 in (diameter) piano wire which works fine for shaft in papermodel cars wheels and props and landing gear struts for aircrafts. This type of wire is pretty strong and can only be bent with the use of pliers. Make sure that the holes on the chassis are slightly larger than the shaft. Lesser friction and smoother the car will go.

Munster Koach Take 2

After surfing on Google images, I've found quite a lot of pics of the munster koach. Now, I'm taking a second bite of the cherry and re-do the wild pipes that are in fact toilet tissue rolls with tin wrap tips. At the same time, some add-on (some from Dave's other kits) are made, viz, front and rear lamps, detailed support of the back seat and gear shift. Apart from these, the cabin is a real re-do with mid row seat and carved out window frame. And I could still hear Dave's laughters ............
