Scania and tanker trailer

Hi al,
been away a while... but slowly plodding on with this... a free plan just black and white with the choice of lowboy trailer and cat digger or a tanker,
here are a few progress shots.....the cab was a straight box shape so I added a second skin for door panels etc and the front plastic moldings, and added a higher roof on the tractor unit as can be seen in the 3rd pic.
the wheels were flat as on the trailer, so I 'did' my own for the tractor unit. .... waiting for a paint job now... I tried a cheap acrylic spray, but was not very good so think I will have to go 'humbrol' ... thinking 'shell livery'

Hi nosports,
was not bad ,,, the cab screen had to be re-cut as the origional was a 'no where near'....and there is no internal at all,and no external details for the cab
the wheels were basic flat like the trailer, but the chassis and axels, suspension all were good. and the trailer was good

Hi Mushroom..
yes waiting....I tried a 'cheap' acrylic spray.. plasticote blue.. but changed my mind and went for the yellow and white 'shell' livey, but the white reacted against the blue.. same paint...
so now will have to under-coat or matt laqure and get some 'Humbrol' I'm thinking...possibly enamal?...
the wheels, tyres and chassis were done in ''proper' model paint and no problem...

I will be doing this cab again some time but with the lowboy trailer and excavator.... I hope to improve the strength of the chassis and suspension 'still in card' and thinking ...radio control it... uuummmmmm
