Ok, Martyn, that was really quick... seems you are really deep into the bike papermodeling frenzy.
That engine looks really clean.
Way to go....!!

Thanks for the reply,s, YES i thought i was doing well till i came to the exhaust and footboards and then it all went down hill , for some reason i couldn,t form cylinders for love or money, this is my 3rd attempt but hope it look,s ok, ( maybe burnt myself out ) and getting too clever, did this on the excavator, lesson learned, take breaks and chill out comes to mind now.

Martyn:
Your tubes look good, it takes practice and after the third time, you nail it.
One trick I use is to have dowels of different circunferences, and use them when I roll the paper.
I used the word 'dowel' but what I really have is a collection of pens, wood sticks (yes those you get at chinese food restaurants) some steel tubes you found in fancy pens, and everything that can be used to roll paper.. beleive me, those and the punch holes are the tools I use most.
Hope this helps a bit.
Best regards.

i agree with this is excellent tool...

i get a selection of steel rods from micheals or hobbylobby. and the home depot as well.. they are needed for making perfect tubes.

Hi mushroom,
as above ... nice job on the pipes... I also use formers for rolling pipes, but very often find I get 'lots of edges' if the pipe is small bore... perhaps I should use 'lighter' card stock for these :-)..
I have been trying to start another, but the printer has decided it won't print 'black' *** !! . :-(

Nice, clean build. The Yamaha bikes are amazing models and you're doing them justice.
