Red Bull 2012 RB8

A little while ago I started a build and thread over at RPM for one of my favorite modeling subjects, F1. I started putting together AmbroseRPM’s RB8 scaled up to 1:15, available over at Brawn GP forums.
I just finished it, enjoyed it thoroughly and thought I’d share over here.

VERY COOL I'm a big F-1 fan, F-1 and World Rally racing are my favorites. The
Red Bull car are the best looking I think. Your build looks fantastic! is this model available?......Rich

wonderful build.
you've done a great job with this.
and the red Bull paint scheme always looks good.

this is 1/15 scale? thats a nice big size.
must look great on the shelf!

but seriously...do you guys like these cars?
I cannot stand all the little bits and bobs stuck all over the place.
F1 cars used to be the most gorgeous things on the track.
Now they are "erector sets on acid"

Nice job on that. Like the current cars even if they are 'erector sets on acid' (I like that). Not as beautiful as the the front engined cars of the mid 50's (absolutely the best IMO) or the 70's rear engine ones, but very purposefull...is that a word?

Thanks for the props guys, appreciate it!

Rich, it's available over at Brawn GP Modeling (have to register) > F1>2012>RB. Michael Dobson did the base template, AmbroseRPM did the color. That version is available right now. I did a slightly modified version (all the CF and a couple of extra pieces) of it (above pics) and sent it on to Ambrose. Hopefully he'll be posting my version of it over there soon.

Dave, Absolutely love these cars! -J
