I was wondering about 'jasmine paper', also. I can't argue with the results. It came out beautifully

Perhaps Kiki-paper can tell us more but I found this at Paper-Replika:

Quote:
Jasmine Paper: Rp 30,000 / 50 sheets of A4
Paper 175gsm stardream similar, the model is used for quality glossy paper, but can be printed in InkJet Printer. Often used by paper modeller world in making robots like Gundam. Double-sided, suitable for paper models in which the color and thickness. 600 grams
Heavy stuff but cheap at $2.85 USD for 50 sheets,.... I think. Apparently a lot like glossy photo paper.

Very well done. I have been on the edge of beginning the gray Ford convertible, but on ordinary Borden & Riley Paris Bleedproof paper, so it will not have a glossy finish.

Did you experience any problems during construction? Any advice for builders of these Canon automobiles?

Thank you all for nice comments.
FYI, jasmine paper is glittered paper which come in two colors, gray and white. So, you don't have to finish it using clear spray. It also very easy in bending process, never leave trace in folding line. However, it cost more expensive than BC paper.
For Don : most difficult part in building canon's car usually came from its head lamp. Too small for me...
