As always, they really look nice. But i think if u lift up the roofs a little bit more, they will look more realistic.
Never mind.

Best wishes for Christmas from Germany

Niedance, you really think the greenhouses should be taller? They're pretty close to the proportions of the Buicks and Chevys of the period...

Well I think they are pretty hot stuff.
I have been working on the venerable old Automovil Moderno (PD) in GIMP to make it look a little more like the late forties Nash Ambassador that it seems to emulate, and there is a lot of work in getting things to fit and work just so. So knowing the work that goes into them and seeing your great results, I think your cars are awesome.

@ Formerly Styrene- Thanks, David! The secret isn't really hard work, just knowing the mathematics.

Niedance, I think where mine look a bit flat is in the roof above the windows. '40's cars had big rounded roofs that really can't be recreated in paper without carving them up with ugly cut lines. One thing I have changed for the second series is not creasing the roof lines except for at the top of the windows. The finished model really benefits from the more natural curves.

...And now back to the models. Taking a few days off has left me a bit lethargic, and I'm having a hard time getting back into the model design just now. Give me some ideas, folks!

I like the new design. I think you have plenty of good ideas. I am working on my own design these days of a series of car to match yours. I am not planning as many body styles, but just enough to get a reasonable market share ha ha!!! I wish a little competition helps for motivation! It would be cool to make some comparison pictures (in a few months maybe) like the automakers were doing back then.

Aw, c'mon, Cami, at least five of the body-style in my last batch were based on your suggestions. Can't wait to see your take on the concept.
