Hello all and thank you for the fine comments.

Today I have been working on the rear wheel. Here are 2 pictures of the process.

Alan has a great tutorial on his site, Alan's Wheels. I follow it almost completely. I do the last steps a little bit different in that I do not cross the threads from side to side. The outer ring thickness is set to be halfway between the spoke rings. I first thread the top (pattern side) though every other hole on the rim then pass the bottom side threads though one by one threading them through the remaining holes. As the threads are pulled tight, this centers the rim on the hub and require less adjusting before gluing.

The first side strung:

Both sides strung and threaded through the rim:

Continuing on the wheel tomorrow.

Looks nice, hoping to put this one together too have made the frame and rear rim/spokes. This model is nice, the spokes are a challenge am building half size or 1/14 but yours is prettier than mine
Your guide is very helpful

As with Alan's Model 7a, excellent model, well designed and a pleasure to build. Thanks Alan for a great model.
