Well us Brits tried too y'know ...

Trouble was it looked so gorgeous with the panels off, that few people retained them.

Johnny.

As far as streamlined Bikes go, John, that BSA(?) looks like it was streamlined to go really fast...in reverse! LOL

And Doug, I don't know what to say about your submission.
Thats an odd one, isn't it?!
LOL
I sure wouldn't call it streamlined! haha

...

Gary...I just noticed your sig.
Not sure why I never noticed it before.
or if I did, why I have forgotten it.
But it gave me such a smile.
Only a couple of days ago, I was thinking about a Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster.
Wondering if i could make one!
haha

I'm a big Douglas Adams fan myself...have a small collection of books.
Proud of my first edition of the "Trilogy in Four Parts".
I just downloaded the big audio set of all his books.
I used to have an audio book of Hitchhiker's Guide read by Douglas Adams himself.
Was on the computer...but I seem to have lost it...maybe in the big harddrive crash a few years back.

anyway, sorry for the sidetrack

Vincent! yes...I knew that.
I couldn't for the life of me remember the name.
And the only other British bike i could think of at that moment was a BSA.
