Hello to all.
I started with this new work, that I'm making for a little contest on an Italian site.
The theme of the contest is :" the desert".
I want to make a scene reproduced on this photo. The base will be this model of novamodel and everything else is....to be invented.

This will be a very complex model.

The image is compelling. The lives of these people is clearly harsh, and I do not know from what danger they were fleeing or to what uncertain future they were moving, but they seem to be looking at me with equanimity and dignity, and their possessions are packed with what appears to be care and order.

I am impressed both with these people of the desert and with the scope of your project.

I am also very impressed by what these people have to suffer and it seems nice to use the model to remember these things!

for the moment I tried to do the keffiyeh with tissue paper.....the result seems nice!

Some update....Finished the frame with a first coloring.
I'm building the engine and then I'll do a bit of pipes.

Hi David, hi all,
Now that I've finished the maz and its trailer, I can devote to this project.
I did the engine, the exhaust pipe and I started the cab. Soon other advances!

The chassis is beautifully done. Very precise construction and realistic weathering.

I imagine the multitudes of people will be a challenge, but it is clear that you have great skill at crafting paper.
