Neat looking automobile but not very practicable. Concept car syndrome.

One-of-a-kind 1970 Lancia Stratos HF Zero set for auction at Lake Como | Autoweek
Quote:
The initial concept behind the Zero was for Bertone’s people to see how low they could build a car. It may have been a response to Pininfarina’s Modulo, which stood at only 93.5 centimeters tall. The final version of the Stratos Zero peaked at just 84 centimeters.
That is around 33 inches.

Here is a video showing how low it is and that 1.6L V4 engine running.

The model on your blog site looks like the Pininfarina Modulo mentioned in the quote.
The quote was just a reference to the heights of the two automobiles as written on the website link. Those are some very low autos.
Seems like it would be uncomfortable to get in or out of those two cars.

Mind bogglingly amazing automobile! I believe it evolved into the LP400 Countach. Looking forward to seeing this one finished, and wouldn't mind one to go with the Maserati Boomerang I recently downloaded....
Great job!

Lp 400

I'd say there's a definite family likeness.... and the vid of the Stratos on the street is amazing - you'd have to take care not to trip over the thing if it was parked up somewhere
