the first half-rim is finished .
a lot of searching and trying until you have the right but eventually you
one that is similar to the original .

Parts for a half rim
on the picture looks as if a hole is not in line

with tire
still needs to be sprayed with chrome paint

Looking great! I will follow build with much interest, since I have this kit in my line-up. I intend to scale it up to 1/16th to make it a little easier (I think) to build, and I like the size.

For the record, I have, over the years, owned three CJ5's, a Jeep Commando, 5 Jeep Grand Cherokees (the family car), and three WWII. The stable is now one jeep, the last of the three GPW's, painted in Navy colors. Guess what I intend to color the model? Hint: Not that common OD (sorry Don). Jim
