Completed some more IH farm equipment

I just completed another IH tractor in 1/64 scale along with a moldboard plow. The IH tractor is a 1486 and the plow is a model 720 5 bottom with spring reset bottoms both would have been common to see in the Midwest in the early 80s.

Wow. Do you have one of these set ups behind the barn or do you just have an intimate knowledge of them? Looks really good

1/64 Scale John Deere 4450

I just completed a 1/64 scale John Deere 4450 tractor with rear dual wheels. Like the real machine the rear duals are removable. As a kid growing up in Iowa I had the opportunity to tour the John Deere Tractor works in Waterloo, Iowa and see these tractors being built. It was a great thrill.

I tried to incorporate the inputs from my earlier posts here as well with some gray tint to the windows and colored edges. thank you for helping get better.

v/r
Matt

Very nice modeling! I really like all the accurately scaled detail, in both the graphics and the paper engineering. I think the edge coloring and window tinting made a big difference.

I also grew up in Iowa (1960s through early 80s), and your designs really take me back to that time. Well done!

I am in the middle of working another John Deere 4450. This one will have front wheel assist. It is 1/64 scale. I really appreciate the tips I've got from here it is helping my models look better.

Your tractors are absolutely beautiful. Do you have any plan to build vintage ones?
