Curt, that an interesting front wheel on that Fordson. Never seen that type before. Missing a few engine pieces but overall looks in pretty good condition. Here's the usual style wheel.

Is the radiator tank not different, also. Seems the ones I have seen were fabricated (like a Model T). This one appears cast......and indestructible.

The top piece is cast and the core and sides are fabricated. There were a couple of different styles over the years.

According to this post Taken For Granted: Fordson Tractor at least some versions of the model F did have this style of front wheel.

I'm pretty sure those wheels are from the Ireland built Model N which is what that photo looks like. Some were imported back into the US since Ford quit building tractors in the US from 1928 until 1939 when the 9N was introduced. Sales were slowing and they need production facilities for the Model A car. The blog posting is not really correct in some of its history. The 9N was developed in Dearborn and was never produced in Ireland. Could go on for hours about this. I've got a stack of reference on Ford as you can see from this. The right hand bookcase is all Ford books plus have more stashed in file cabinets. A wee bit obsessive there.
