Peugeot 403. Lt.Columbo junk heap cabrio. Metal build

Hi!

A fully true metal shaping techniques are used to make this)

This is made by taking my 3d model of the car and later pluging "squish" for Rhino 4 to make the patterns. Also a mini "English Wheel" tool and a hammer most of the time with stretching shrinking of the metal.

Interesting approach to making a model. And I thought making some paper models was tough.

Some really excellent miniature panel beating going on there Modeller. I'm jealous. I don't think I could better that on a full size renovation.

Having a little poke around your website, I see that there is a paper model Peugeot 403 "Columbo" on offer too.

I must give it a go sometime soon.

This is all way much easier then seems.

For example I marked the shrinking parts as an example.
And some patterns.

I had no trouble there
I LOVE that 61 Dodge Seneca Sedan Police Cruiser
That and the Kuban Bus are my 2 Favorites!!
If I read correctly the Dodge has a Los Angeles Police Department Logo
on the door

If that IS the door marking I will try to make the "Coffee Can" lights LAPD
used from the 50's thru 77 or so
