Got those and need to try one....someday! Will be following with interest.

"Speaking of Win 10, I hate the unzip and the photo and pdf printing in it. How do you get Win 10 to recognize 7Zip? I also need to get Adobe on there.

Sorry to derail the thread"

Does anyone have an answer for this yet?? I have to go through a work around ever time I want to open a zipped file.

Wayne,

If you can be a little bit more patient, I can do a write up/demo on how to add programs to Win10, like 7zip(i use both)
probably will be after the 11th of August though(class comes first)

Thanks Rick

Spend a couple of hours this morning fighting with it over more immediate issues, so can wait no problem.
Back to the regularly scheduled thread.

Rather than hijack this thread go to the posts in an old thread about Portable Apps. PortableApps work in Win 10.

Try using the PortableApps Application or the Winpenpack Application and the portable programs offered on either site to decompress files and open PDF and image files.
These programs are not supposed to make changes to the directory or outside their folder.
You have a choice of several alternatives to installing Adobe Reader or using the built in Win10 programs. Irfanview is a great program for converting, doing basic modification and printing of image files. Google Chrome has a useful PDF creation feature.

I've had this Aston model on my computer for a very long time (10 years?)
I love the DB racers and have wanted to build it.
But its a big project...
and it looks quite involved.

I am watching your build with interest.

I've also planned to do a KoolWheelz small scale version
but its such a complicated shape.
Who knows, maybe your build will inspire me.
