Good evening.
For the base I used a wooden painters panel from the art store, and painted it black with Golden Fluid Acrylics Carbon Black.
The road surface was going to use fine sandpaper, but since the base is 12 in. long the sandpaper was an inch too short. Instead, used a 12x12 sheet of paper which had a linen texture, from the craft store.
Mounted the car and the figure to the base.
These are the final pic for this build.
