2015 Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Racecar

Good evening.
It has been a while since I've built a car and never an F1 racer, though I am an F1 fan.
Decided to bite the bullet and chose EPSON's model of Nico Rosberg's car from the 2015 Australian GP.

The kit consists of 7 pages and is of a scale of 1/18th.

Starting with the nose cowling and the front wing.
That front wing has to be built up and may be the most complex piece of the build. We'll see.

As of tonight I am about half way through the wing construction. I'm glad they gave detailed instructions on the wing.

Thank you for following.
Questions and comments welcome.

Following with interest. Those new F1 wings from the last couple of years are something else.

Thank you Whulsey.
Yes they seem to get more complex every year.

Good luck on this fine, and difficult looking, model. I'll be following your build very carefully. I opted to go with Nicos car in deference to my youngest son who was a great fan of Keke Rosberg after watching him race many years ago at Laguna Seca.

Will follow this build with interest, have been wanting to give an F1 car a crack but they look too complex, hopefully your build will help.

Your welcome Gotham.
The secret with a kit like this is to just take it slow and methodical.

Good evening.
After getting all the fins on now it was time to start installing all those air dams.

After all those air dams the last piece to install was the centre airfoil.

Here is the finished front wing. This thing consists of 47 pieces.

Now it's time to start on the chassis.

Thank you for following.
Questions and comments welcome.
