Ichiyama's instructions

I noticed a thread from a while ago - Ichiyama's Instructions where there was a request for instructions for the 1-30th scale cars on Ichiyama's website (1/30Model of カードの兵隊 1/30model). He does a lovely job of presenting them on his site, but they're not easy to use unless, like me, you do a lot of print-screen and copy-to-Photoshop work - so I did just that and am making these available to everyone here in the downloads section. It'll take me a while to get them all uploaded, so be patient.

Note: The Isetta has instructions on the model file.
There aren't any instructions for the Messerschmitt at all - unless someone knows different......

Can I take it no one has shown you how to use the 'Print Screen' button on your keyboard Miles?

If you open the download page with the model you want in Windows
you can "Save page as"
Then find the "files" folder for that saved page.
It contains jpeg images for each of the steps of the instructions
(where there are any).

As a comparison, I had a go at this method:
On the page with a car model, right-click and select "view page source". A search down the page will eventually find a block of code that had sections including this -

<img src="_src/sc389/R8g_inst1.jpg"

- and similar. Each of these is a link to the instruction picture, so right-click-save-as on each, and put them into the appropriate folder with the model file. Then open Photoshop, create a 200dpi A4 (or Letter) file and copy each instruction photo onto the page. Then arrange them, flatten and save the instruction sheet.

You know what - it turned out to take just as long to do it like this as to do the "print screen" method. It's an alternative, though.

In any case, for these models, you don't have to do it, since I've done it and you can get them all here! I've never come across another site that uses flash to display the instructions like this, so the problem might not arise again!

Print screen is only the first step - it takes a bit more than that! I had loads of time on my hands to do it, but not everyone has!

Oh, I well realise that Graham, it was just a subtle hint to Miles that he could print off the web page instructions.

Personally, I just right click, select print ... save as PDF ... and magically there's a ready to print PDF file on my desktop.

I'm not sure if this facility came about through my printer driver software, or if it's a Win-10 facility, but it's very useful.
