Wienermobile!
Yesterday I stopped by a grocery store on my way home from work, and noticed a poster saying that the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile would be visiting the next day. So I rushed home and got right to work on Airdave's Kool Wheelz version of the 1952 Wienermobile. With such limited time, I made it quickly -- sorry Dave, no time for edge painting. I gave the "Hotdogger" hostess the finished model and received a wiener whistle in return (to be fair, everyone gets a wiener whistle). But she seemed to like it. Herewith, a couple of pictures.

What a neat idea! And you did it well and quickly. Perhaps your forte is speed builds. Who knows?

Nice job on the model, and a very thoughtful gift for the driver. I saw the Wienermobile at the Wegman's in Scranton, PA 8 or 10 years ago. It was quite a bit larger than I expected it to be.

What a great idea. You had a very short deadline and it came out very nice indeed.
Wow, I haven't seen the wiener mobile in years, didn't know it was still around. Very cool. |

Well done. That recipient looks quite pleased with the gift. Looks like a spot on the dashboard is in order.

That's great!
Interesting side note: Some years ago I worked with a guy who had been the Oscar Meyer kid and traveled around with the Weinermobile. |
