Correct. I will do the seame with the rear lights too. I have the "hardware" needed for the rear(4x ordinary red LEDs; 1x small red LED) which I salvaged from an old broken down toy(lol) but I intended to build out of recycled materials in the first place, as I did with the e46 M3 Bimmer. I might use only 2 leds for the rear lights + the small LED for the braking light; I am not sure yet. The small LED for the brake light (highlighted in blue) is going to be a bit of a headache since I have already made the trunk lid without considering how I am going to integrate it in the build. I'd like the rear of the vehicle to be similar to the ones in the photos.

Indeed, I have saved myself from ~4 hours of extra work that had to be dedicated to rebuilding those headlights only because I have used cheap glue.

* Happy new year everyone! *
I placed to build aside during the holidays, now that they are over, I can get back to it. Which is nice.
I am currently "developing" the floor of the car. I hope it is going to turn out fine. I can now put to good use all that cheap superglue on the parts which are more "hidden" and harder to see.

The cuts were made with a shaving blade; an easy and reliable solution that will help you make clean cuts in spots where scissors can not be used.

*Yet another big step*

I have just finished assembling the outer shell of the car's body, and I must say that the splices turned out way better than I have expected, and they look like they are quality splices, given the fact that I have used recycled materials and cheap super glue
However, I am still thinking about a way to reinforce the body outer shell, altough it is pretty strong since after the super glue dried it became rock hard. I have actually tried to strengthen out the windshield frame at some point, and it took way more force than I have expected; so much that I was worried not to damage it. I can almost say that this part doesn't even need reinforcements at all. I might just reinforce the strut assembley and the platform, and I will have a pretty solid build you can actually manipulate without the fear of bending the bodywork or damaging anything.

I have managed to stuble across on article on a russian paper modelers forum. I can see that someone has already built an R33 Skyline too. From what I have managed to understand via Google Translate, the grey one is only a test build, hence the lower quality. The wheels are functional too.

The article is here:
Skyline R33 - Как сделать модели из бумаги и картона своими руками - Форум

I will attach some pictures as refference, the build is not mine.

As a short summary, I want to build mine with:

-detailed interior
-detailed engine bay
-working headlights
-working break lights
-working suspension
-working hood, doors, trunk
-(maybe) a working steering wheel
-working engine (electrical motor) that will spin the wheels

Talking

I have partially reinforced the strut assembly. I will reinforce it more(completely) later on, once I am sure that everything aligns well, I have attached the strut assembly to the floor platform, and now it looks like I have a solid base for the front end of the car to attach the additional pieces. You can see the Bmw m3 gtr highlighted in the background
I might have to put the build away for a couple of days.
