Amazing, as always. These look way better than the 1/12 the scale Formula1 kits from Tamiya. One thing with card, it would be much easier to portray the little dents and dings they cars aluminum bodywork would collect over time. I remember the bodywork, especially on the Ferrar8 312 T being kind of chunky. Plus if one were to do say two cars. One with body and wheels, the other on jack stands sans body, whhels and with out the engine one does not have to deal with the alignment mortices a plastic kit would have.
There was an individual from Italy IIRC back in the '60s who built scale F1 cars around this scale from aluminum, rubber tires etc. Your work compares to his. |
