  • The tires were simplified and I found them unimpressive.
Anyway here are the remaining pictures of this seemingly rare model.

Very nice... I've been thinking about building a model of our old Ford 640 combine we farmed with for many years... but I wouldn't know where to start...

Shame they didn't detail the underside or have it so you can see into the cab... the cabs of some of these things are nearly as complex as any fighter jet and interesting in and of themselves and would add TREMENDOUS detail to the model...

Great work and keep it up! OL J R

So I thought I needed to add a few final words on this build.

I delivered the completed model to the client this past Saturday. He was beyond thrilled. I am happy I could do this model some justice.

He told me that this model was a promotional item found originally at MF dealers back when the 760 Combine was in production in the UK.

He did not indicate how many of these models were produced then, but it is of late 70's vintage. Since he is primarily a collector of MF artifacts, he did tell me he had to debate with himself on having it built but ultimately decided he would enjoy it more if it was.

So, if you are interested in finding one of these, I wish you good luck because I figure they are very rare.
