From 1988 to 1997 Ford did actually use the name Probe on a production car, but it is in no way the same car as this 1979 Prototype.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Probe Quite a few were sold in UK, but although there is a club dedicated to the survivors, they could never have been regarded as popular. It's a very stylish shape which could have been popular, but I'm led to believe there were reliability problems with the many innovative fittings. I was tempted to buy one once, but on reading up on them decided against it. Likewise the Toyota Sera ... very stylish, but ...

One of my favorite Ford show car prototypes. Didn't care much for the production Probe. Bunch of issues with it.

this is my ever first paper model that was on my to do list and I love the results also! everything came out right on this prototype concept car! I will send online the PDF Files as soon as I can!
