You are making me want to build one for myself!
1/14 scale? Fabulous! But why this gray colour? Your build is so amazingly clean and precise. But I'm not thrilled about the colour and texture banding. Is that an effect you have applied? The actual Tumbler was matte black or something very similar. Its rough looking, a lot of the paint surface looks worn. I've seen it. But it was definitely black or close to black. And there were no bright metal parts...like the gas caps or actuators. They were more like an anodized copper or a bronze if i remember correctly. Regardless, this will be an amazing model when its done.

To be honest every piece that I see I have no idea how or where it is installed, I do not know any technical details or all that, I do not know if the color is black, gray, blue or whatever, I only see an excellent job where I look at it, it's great.

I'm with Dave on this one - great build, but the colouring is wrong.
Remember, " Does it come in black ?"

Update
Thanks, folks.
Dave, The color choice is my personal preference. As is the PS filter effects used to obtain the look that I also wanted. That’s the nice thing about this kit; YOU can print yours on any color of paper you want. As to the gold, it’s what I had available. Continuing with the build... Pics 93 – 96 show both parts, 17-5 & 18-5, attached. 97 – 101 show the visor headlights, their under plating and the rear flaps, above 17-5 & 18-5, installed. 2 mods here: The under plating and the rear flaps were re-drawn/re-shaped. I felt that the former was too thick and the latter the wrong shape. Also, I made the flaps double-sided, to fold and glue back on themselves, and then embossed the perimeter edges against their own template to create the folded edge. Now on to the roof. -J |

Roof Update
First two pics are of the roof and its corresponding pieces. I modded the under-visor plates to the proper shape and thickness. T had them with beveled LEs, very thick and improper shape. Last pic is of the single page of silver pieces. They only take up half the page, so I doubled up on these pieces.
Now that I have my silver printed, the business end is next. -J |

Impeccable where you look, everything seems to fit perfect or you have to go correcting?

Sergio,
Fit continues to be very good. No corrections, even with mods. -J |

Everything is still very good. Download the file by simple curiosity, many pages and the finished model is spectacular. I follow the progress, everything looks very good

One of my favorite features on this vehicle has always been the wheels, I can't wait to see how they come out.
I've seen more than enough though, your build has almost convinced me to abandon my half built model and start fresh with this one... eventually, once I get through a couple of other projects. |
