Another little update
Wheels sans spokes.
These were made using a silver card stock available at Hobby Lobby, something I’ve wanted to work with for a while now. HL link for those interested: https://www.hobbylobby.com/Scrapbook...12%22/p/111567 The graphic in lieu of a picture of the item on the HL site doesn’t do the paper any justice. -J |

Wow, that if that fabulous, it looks like a mirror. Excellent finding, many will be very useful. Thank you very much.

Those wheels are looking good, what's the thickness of that silver cardstock?
I use a similar card in a lot of my builds but it comes in much larger sheets. I find it tends to delaminate fairly easily when I try to curve or roll it but it still does the job... it'd be nice to try something a bit thinner. |

Little progress
Spoke test build. This is a SNUG fit. I’m going with 32 lb. stock on each of the 5 spokes. 65 was too thick and made the fit issue that much worse.
Jaffro, I don’t know the exact weight of the HL paper as it isn’t posted anywhere on the item, on the shelf or online. My best guess is slightly higher than 110 lb. Stock. Thanks for the comments, guys. I appreciate it. -J Edit: Last pic is with the tire. I'm increasing the length of the central 5-sided axle by .109". It came up short on the other side. Totally cool! But I would still like to see a Bat symbol tire tread pattern.

I had to put the Tumbler on hold and draw a portrait for my 2nd Son’s Birthday. One of his favorite movies, 20” x 28”, pencil. Sorry for the cam-shake.
Back to the Tumbler. -J |

Headed back to PS
I’m not real happy with the coloring (PS gradient and emboss effect) on the tires that I created; highlight is way too light.
I decided to build just one tire and then decide. Got less than half way through the treads and stopped. Doesn’t look right to me. So, back to coloring... J |
