After a long summerbreak (too hot and too sweaty for me to build) and holidays, we continue the build of this beauty.

This is the last progress:

Thanks to all for the kind words.

Meanwhile the body has been completed, already with the giant spoiler.

4 wheels and 2 exterior mirrors to go ...

Joost

Wonderful! Great construction, one more step and your Ferrari could go out to roll.

A really magnificent build! I wonder if it could be assembled in a scale of 1:100. It would probably have to be built in reverse order, if it could be assembled at all. It would look great along side my 1949 Tucker.

@ missileer: this one in scale 1:100 will be quite a challenge. You will have to think completely out of the box. Just re-scaling it, as it is, won't be possible, I guess. I'm now working on the wheels, I couldn't do it when they would be 5x smaller. But on the other hand, I've seen other eye-dropping small-scale models. So, be confident and go for it.

It took me some time to finish this model due to a beautiful Indian Summer in Belgium and some other activities.
Every now and then, I cutted and glued a wheel. Now they're on, as well as the mirrors.

Here's the final result:
