After a long summerbreak (too hot and too sweaty for me to build) and holidays, we continue the build of this beauty.

Thanks to all for the kind words.
Meanwhile the body has been completed, already with the giant spoiler. 4 wheels and 2 exterior mirrors to go ... Grts, Joost |

Wonderful! Great construction, one more step and your Ferrari could go out to roll.

A really magnificent build! I wonder if it could be assembled in a scale of 1:100. It would probably have to be built in reverse order, if it could be assembled at all. It would look great along side my 1949 Tucker.

@ missileer: this one in scale 1:100 will be quite a challenge. You will have to think completely out of the box. Just re-scaling it, as it is, won't be possible, I guess. I'm now working on the wheels, I couldn't do it when they would be 5x smaller. But on the other hand, I've seen other eye-dropping small-scale models. So, be confident and go for it.

It took me some time to finish this model due to a beautiful Indian Summer in Belgium and some other activities.
Every now and then, I cutted and glued a wheel. Now they're on, as well as the mirrors. Here's the final result: Grts, Joost |
