Ferrari F50GT - scale 1/20

Hoi,

For a good friend, Ferrari-freak but no modeller, I will build the Ferrari F50GT.
I don't know much about it, but it seems only 3 were built. The value is correspondingly...

This is the real stuff:

Here are the parts:

The bottom plate with air conductors:

Wat hebben we nog bij mekaar geplakt?

The nose with headlights:

The side with aircoolers:

and both of them:

Now I will continue with the nose.

Grtz,
Joost

Off to a good start. I did a Shinya model when I was really a newb in the hobby, and it came out pretty good, with a little struggle along the way.

I'm sure this one will come out great

Looked the price up - in 2016 the car was selling for $1.4 million to $2 million. Got any spare change? I need it all of a sudden.

Due to the lovely wheather in Belgium, there is not much of a progress.

Anyway, the following has been done:

The front is almost completed.

One side has been attached, but only at the wheelhouses. Between the wheelhouses, I keep it unglued until further progress. Right behind the front wheelhouse the side should be pushed a little inwards.

That's it for today.

Grts,
Joost

Very nice job so far. Thanks for including the pictures of the actual car. Goes without saying that I’ve never seen one.
