Zio Rolls

Well friends, it's been 8 years but the modeling bug has bit me once again and I dare say, "It's about darn time!"
I wanted to start out small at first to get back in the swing of things.
You may have to pardon some blurry pics. I cannot seem to hold this camera without shaking a little. Being a lover of models I say a blurry pic is better than no pic.
I hope you all enjoy this quick little build as much as I am.

I introduce to you the Rolls Royce "mini" by Fabrizio Prudenziati.
May his memory, talent and generosity live on as I pay tribute to his legacy. I plan to continue with more builds of his design following this one.

Scored part using the back side of a seam ripper and a straight edge.
I've found this works best for me. When I press lightly it produces a slight crease in the card for easier bending.
Pressing a little harder with the seam ripper or using multiple strokes, you can cut half way through the card. This does come in handy sometimes.

Cut out part using surgical scalpel blade and a straight edge.
This is the rear compartment and roof.

Part folded. I don't like white edges. Time to grab the marker.

A neat little model. I built one of these! Zio has a nice line of Model T trucks in the same scale, too.

Colored edges and glued together with 1 drop of Aleene's Tacky Glue and a toothpick.
( Two cat hairs courtesy of Ms. Curious who was jealous of the keyboard and mouse already. Now she has to deal with this evil modeling thing going on )

Hi Don. I love his models. The design and coloring of his models is superior to most freely available models.
I just downloaded the whole collection through the wayback machine.

Great! I look forward to seeing more. You are inspiring me to build more of Zio's HO scale vehicles.

Sorry for the blurry, dark pic. I will have to set up my tripod and more lighting I suppose.
