1/87 KoolWheelz Cousin Eddie's RV

As it is so hot here in Arkansauna, I decided to "Kool" off with a model from Dave.
I was going to do the Eagle 5, but decided to attack this one first.

After finding the length of the actual vehicle, I rescaled it down to 1/87 scale.

I printed two copies, with the intention of layering some parts. Then I saw the
print at the bottom of the kit where Dave says do it for extra detail.
After looking at pictures, I decided to layer panels, hatches and the wipers.

I also chose to use my doming block, to modify the front and rear wheels.
I did use the optional tire treads and added an interior plate to each wheel.

In addition, I added a "chassis" to give some structural integrity.

Other additions include side mirrors, that I added polished foil to give a mirror
appearance, which you can see in the rear pictures, as well as the wreaths on the front and side door.

Here it is. A fun, short time build.

That really came out great! The layering adds so much interest. A perfect little gem.
