Very nice. Shelly really liked her delivery wagon. Asked me why I left the driver black and white. Told her I had no idea what color uniform he would have worn

Parts

VK,

In the attached thumbnail, I have a couple of questions.

Are the two items I indicated as axles correct?

And what are the other two items I marked?

Thanks!

Texman,

Based on other wagons that VK has designed, you guessed right on the axles and the other items would be wheel rims and hubs. When he doesn't provide them, I just print another set of wheels and cut out the rims and hubs only. I also cut out 8 blanks and sandwich them between 2 colored wheels and add the rims and hubs to add a little more 3D.

Yes, the two pieces marked axles are triangular axles.

The really odd shaped piece is Josh Buczinski's flat axle. I use these on almost all my carriages, stages and wagons. It allows the front wheels to be steerable. http://www.paperposeables.com/2011/09/sweet-robo.html

On the piece to the left, the axle support, there is the circle. Cut out the inner circle with the 'X' and cut the slit. Then rotate the axle into the hole. Glue the wagon tongue to the flat axle.

The questionable parts to the right are the front axle support. The long parts get glued to the sides of the axle. Fold the dark portion back. Valley fold the upper pieces. The two small parts abut, making a tent shape, and are glued under the wagon tongue piece.

The wagon tongue should be glued to something like tablet backing, or card box cardboard.

Clear as mud?

VK,

Remind me never to raise my hand in class again; especially when I don't really understand the question.

No, no it didn't. Just been out on family business.
However, if I could get a shot of the bottom of the chassis,
just for me to confirm I build it correctly.

I have it printed, just pondering the best way for me to do the wheels.

I'm thinking unorthodox.

I'll have to have Shelly get a photo to me. I'll tell her to just put it on its roof and take a picture from the front.

The wheels, as designed, are fold-overs, with extra parts to give the outside depth.

Thanks VK. I understood the wheels were fold over assembly.

I am considering how I am going to make them.
