NASCAR Dale Jr. Card Stock Paper build

Alright-still trying to learn how forums work. I think I posted this one to the wrong forum earlier. It’s a Dale Jr. 2008 NASCAR built from card stock paper. It is still a learning process as I have many more to build. So this one has a lot of errors. The interior roll cage is made from dowel rods. I am on a time crunch so I didn’t work hard to shape them - or smooth them better. The front end isn’t rounded enough and I messed up shaping the hood. The decals are cheap water slides ordered from EBay. The decals are what I used to sketch out the template of the car.

The sideways pics seems to be something the forum does.
No. 88 Dale Jr. Nice looking car so far.

Don't complain about errors, there's nothing wrong with your build(s).

Lol...yeah- not so much complaining...I joined to be a part of this community to learn. On IG I see amazing paper Model cars with beautiful rounded curves...I build like I Sketch-where as others build like engineers. I need more of that precision and planning. And...I had a NASCAR fan tell me all the errors on this model on Deviant Art...so I’m preemptively stating my flaws here. Plus pointers are welcomed. I’m knew to the forum so I have a lot of threads to look through. Thanks

Great looking model.
Interesting thing, to some maybe. I now live about a mile from DEI and about two miles from JR’s house. Like I said, may be interesting to some, but boring to others.

I think that is interesting. I’m an INDYCAR and F1 fan so this build got me into NASCAR as I had to watch a lot of racing vids to research what detail to put into this. Dale Jr. seems to be a great dude-in all I love motorsports and race cars in general...almost as much as I live sci fi and comic stuff... My wife and I talked about how great it would be to get Dale’s signature on this. I am about to do a larger scale build of Mario Andretti’s 1969 Clint Brawner Hawk...I have his signature on a piece of paper that will be glued and clear coated into the base of the model.

John, I am impressed. I am surprised at how few cars are built of paper.
