Paper Model Body on an RC Car

We got this Traxxas Slasher Robby Gordon RC car at a garage sale for $8.00. My son wanted to build a different body...and then probably crash it up - anyways it will be fun and he is doing a lot of the work. While it is a bit silly- he is having fun with it. It will go on our YouTube channel. In these pics I’m still shaping the body. It will be reinforced a bit with cardboard and dowel rods. We will build the interior and add some paper made drivers.

For 8 bucks you got a great deal on that Traxxas Robby Gordon Dakar Hummer.

Thank you buddy...we aren’t sure which truck we are going to Model after yet...just building a generic shape. And we love the score trucks racing stuff. I was contemplating doing a modern truck with a Rod Hall tribute theme...and yes...$8 bucks was a steel. The lady selling it had no clue- and thought it was broke- it runs like a champ!

A friend races a Lamborghini and we have talked about doing something similar to represent her car.
