Well, he's a tad closer on geometry, but his graphics stink. I find it amazing how different designers key in on certain elements and totally mess up others.

But like AirDave says, we probably should wait to see the production version. This is so different than the publicity drawings before the 'reveal'. I think that doing a model of this version may be a waste of time (except for the humor of the windows). Or maybe to use as a vehicle in Cyberpunk 2020.

I almost said I could do this better, but I don't really have the desire or time to prove it. Maybe later, if no one comes up with a better one, but I have a feeling we will see quite a few models of this coming out

I hope they have figured out a way to keep blue jeans from staining the stainless steel like the problem they had with the Delorean

I never heard this before.
Tell us more!
(Maybe this is why DeLoreans were clearcoated?)

I drove a DeLorean once.
Cool ride, I thought.
I had to pick it up and deliver it across the city for alignment work.
Only negative thing about driving it (for me) was the headroom.
...when the gullwing doors close, a small box indentation in the door covers your head.
When I turned my head, I hit the sides of this box.
And I am only 5'6"!
Unless someone somehow raised the seats in the car, it wouldn't comfortably allow for anyone much taller than me!

I would still love to own one today! or a Bricklin!

That is why they clear-coated them, after they found out it was a problem

Yes! Truckla is waaay more cool and interesting from an actual road-going vehicle standpoint. To me, it's a modern, electric version of the El Camino. I think it's totally badass.

You might be interested in more perspectives on the CyberTruck from "The Tesla Life" show -- Episode #125 in particular. They do talk about the likelihood of the revealed vehicle making it all the way to the actual production vehicle.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=toQKFue6epE

"The Tesla Life" is done by three of the regulars from the "What Drives Us" show (also on YouTube,) who comment on the week's electric vehicle news.

Cheers!

What I'd really like to see is the Tesla ATV in paper

I think the Cybertruck is Elon Musk being the ultimate troll. Simone Giertz makes her own Tesla truck, and it gets very popular, to the point that people are tweeting Tesla to make one. So they do.

I take it back. I didn't pay attention to the dropdown, so didn't see the colour version.

That is a pretty dang good model. I might have to build it, too. Thanks for sharing, sir

Am I the only one who first thought this looked like the Landmaster?
