Nice, Air Dave.

Fun story-time.
As a teenager, I grew up in L.A. County and spent the majority of my time travelling with width and breadth of the Greater Los Angeles area by bus.
Several times while travelling through the Universal Hollywood area, I noticed a very unusual vehicle in a large yard right off the freeway. After seeing it for several months, I finally decided to find my way to the yard to see what it was.
When I got there, it was the Landmaster! Along with the Monkee Mobile, a Viper and several other one-off movie prop vehicles!
Unfortunately, this was long before the Cell Phone camera days, so I've only got my slowly failing memory to keep these images in. But I still remember the thrill of realizing all the amazing vehicles in that lot. I really wish I'd gone back with a camera to get some pictures, though.

We often regret things not done more than things we have done.

At least I do

BTW, I think I missed how the tonneau cover works. In photo captions it is referred to as a 'roll-up tonneau cover, but being narrower at the top, I don't see how it can go into the cab. On the other hand, I don't see how it can roll into the tail gate. Does anyone have a source of info on this? I'm seriously considering doing a model of this in truck-mode. I have a good image of the back of the cab and okay images of the bed sides and bottom, and of the inside of the tail gate, but I sure don't see where this rolls into

its a slatted roll up...it redirects downward and behind the cab (as it rolls up).

ignore the video...look at twitter video or photos halfway down the page https://insideevs.com/news/384248/te...u-cover-video/

It doesn't look any better in paper. Sadly.

Good video, Dave. It looks kind of like how a roll top desk tambour works.

That is extremely helpful. In the images, there is always the perspective element that needs to be considered. The bed opening needs to be rectangular.

It certainly isn't as pretty as the semi
