'57 Chevy Hardtop.

I know the '57 Chevy two door hardtop has been overdone in the model car world, but here's another one. A friend of mine commissioned me to build it for her stepdad. The pictures you see are scanned from photographs. Sorry the quality isn't better.

The model is made of lightweight cardboard, with colored paper covering.

You've captured it perfectly. Immediately recognizable. Do you keep your drawings for later use? You might meet up with someone else that wants a '57 Chevy, but in different colors. You'd be a hit at car shows if you set up a table with examples of your work. Of course, then it would become a job, which is not as much fun as a hobby.

Thanks, Don. Yes I do keep the drawings, because sometimes more than one person wants the same car. (For example, I've built five Studebaker Avantis.)
