No.13 FE3634 Burlak
No. 13 FE3634 Burlak with add-ons, like side mirrors and "steerable" front wheels.
I'm stilling exploring this simplified "steering" system that can be applied to all small scale vehicle models. I'll announce it in due course. |

What have I been doing since last post? Here it is. Will present them one by one later. The fire truck is at 1/160 and the last pic with his big bro for comparison.

Beautiful, sir. The first thought that crossed my mind was how silly some folks sound when they complain about minimodels looking too simple and boxy. They are merely describing their build skills, not the models. Great work

Great models.
I am glad you are carrying on - and look forward to the next one. Your Burlak is great - how do you make the mirrors? Card?

Thank you guys.
@Kevin, the side mirrors were made from paper and stiffened with CA glue. |

I took a second look at the LIAZ and found that the way I made the cabin tilts with the mud guards and steps is incorrect. And there's an ugly gap between the base of the cabin and the mud guards. After browsing around trucks in real life, I patch up the gaps with tailored strips of paper and the result is acceptable.
