Bentley 4.5L Blower, by TK Papercraft 1/20

This took me a lot longer than I figured on. It is not because it was difficult, it was because I was slow. The only real problem I had with the kit was the hood and body were to tall and did not really fit the radiator and firewall. So, after some cutting and cussing I got it sorted out. The kit has pretty nice detail and all the parts that were seemingly hard to put together went pretty easily.

I made some minor changes, the most notable is the radiator. The one in the kit didn't make much sense to me, so I went on line to look for pictures and what you will see were the results (the one on the frame is before I made correction, though I don't think I did it the way I was supposed to). Also the windshields (never really figured out how this was supposed to work even with pictures) are now one rectangle and one half circle, gotta love the British. I also built a base.

I took some pictures while building so here they are.

Mike

That is a magnificent model!

Excellent base, too. And I appreciated your notes on your deviations/corrections.

Congratulations on completing this major project.

Great work, and a treat to the eye. Your hints for the hood will be helpful, when I come to build mine...
Congratulations for finishing it!

A truly beautiful build! I am not familiar with TK Papercraft; I'll have to look them up.

A beautiful model. The display base really sets it off. I have purchased a couple of TK papercraft models, but have yet to build either. They are very easy to deal with, and add several new models to their line each year. Prices are very reasonable for such quality kits. Thanks for sharing your inspirational build.

A great build!

I agree with your comments about the instructions, they aren't the best. Your changes to the front make a great difference.

I like their attention to detail - the body colour is different from the "bonnet" because the body is leather.

Enzo Ferrari called them the fastest trucks in racing.
